Ouagadougou: 95,457 retirees from (CARFO) and (CNSS) will benefit from free medical examination this year, for a budget of 1 billion 700 million FCFA. The launch of this activity was made on April 4, 2024 in Tenkodogo.'Since 2007 for the CNSS and 2009 for the CARFO, free medical examinations have been organized each year for the benefit of retirees and the surviving spouses of retirees,' writes the newspaper l'Observateur Paalga.For Minister of State Bassolma Bazié 'this free annual medical examination responds, on the one hand, to a legitimate call from a specific layer and, on the other hand, reflects the government's social policy for inclusive development'.The minister informs that each beneficiary, in addition to the physical examination and the laboratory examination, will be entitled to a medication voucher for a fixed amount of five thousand (5000) FCFA as support.He also added that the estimated budget for this edition, which amounts to approximately one billion seven hundred million FCFA, ha s seen a significant increase compared to that of the 2023 edition.Source: Burkina Information Agency
