In Niamey, President Ibrahim Traoré tackles ‘parlor slaves’

Ouagadougou: The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, rebuked Saturday in Niger, 'parlor slaves', these Africans without 'dignity', without 'morality' and without 'personality' who steal and plunder the riches of the continent to keep them with their imperialist masters.Saturday in Niamey, Niger during the first summit of the Confederation of the Alliance of Sahel States, the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré returned to the case of these Africans who are slowing down the development of the continent since "the sham independence" of the 1960s.According to the President of Faso, the imperialists have always placed 'local lackeys' at the head of their 'sub-prefectures' to maintain control over Africa's resources.'These local valets whom we are going to describe today as parlor slaves have no other guide than to seek to live like the master, to satisfy the master and to do everything that the master dictates. They steal, they plunder our states, they take everything from the master and their wealth is kept with the master. They do everything to live like their master and always satisfy him. When the master commands, they execute,' said Captain Traoré.For the President of Faso, parlor slaves are recognizable by their lack of dignity, morality and personality.'But the slave master always knew how to identify these individuals. They are always ready to betray their brothers to satisfy the master. They have betrayed us since independence and others continue to betray us until today for the benefit of their masters. These individuals still continue, against all odds, to help the master to plunder Africa,' concluded President Ibrahim Traoré.Source: Burkina Information Agency
