The Continium Mining and BTP Training Center (CMTC) began on July 4, 2024 in Sabcé, a 45-day training in masonry for the benefit of sixty young people from the communes of Sabcé, Guibaré and Mané in the province of BamSixty young people from communities impacted (Sabcé, Guibaré, Mané) by the Bissa Gold mine will benefit from this masonry training which will last 45 days.According to the CEO of CMTC Amedé Sawadogo, it is within the framework of Bissa Gold's corporate social responsibility (CSR) that the Continium Mining and BTP Training Center was selected to provide this training to young people, at regarding the experience of the center and especially the quality of its training.Before the start of the training, the CMTC provided the learners with work and safety equipment (masonry kits, shoes and safety helmets).Amédée Sawadogo then urged them to be diligent and punctual to allow the trainer to complete his program on time.He then reassured the young people that the CMTC is renowned for its profes sionalism in career training in Burkina Faso.'We specialize in training for mining jobs and trades and are recognized by the ministry in charge of vocational training and that in charge of mines. You will receive theoretical and practical training in 45 days and ultimately, everyone will be able to set up and build houses,' he explained.The learners' spokesperson Casimir Ouédraogo reassured the center managers and trainers that the young people are committed to respecting the rules of the CMTC in order to deserve the trust that Bissa Gold has placed in them by designating them to follow this training.'We were the ones who asked to be trained in masonry and Bissa Gold agreed to accompany us. We want that at the end of the training, each of us becomes a full mason in our locality and now evolves in this profession.
