Banwa: review of the CEP in a difficult context

the examination for the Primary School Certificate (CEP) and entry into sixth grade began this Tuesday morning before the authorities of the province of Banwa, noted the AIB on the spot.

It’s 6:30 a.m. This is the beginning of the calls and installations of the candidates waiting for the opening time of the first envelope for the first test.

Indeed around 7 am, the Prefect of Solenzo representing the High Commissioner of the Banwa province, accompanied by officials and heads of provincial services as well as the FDS, arrived at school A in Solenzo.

Given the security context and the displacement of populations, there are only two juries that each house a composition center in Solenzo.

Thus the sole Solenzo 1 jury houses a center with a total of 306 candidates and the sole Solenzo 2 jury also has a single center with a staff of 216 candidates.

Apart from the Sanaba jury which is based in Dédougou, the total of candidates for Solenzo is 522 this school year 2022-2023.

In the presence of the authorities and in front of the students, the editorial envelope was opened at 7:20 am and the subject read and put on the board is: “In your family, there was a party. Recount “.

According to the prefect, it is a dream come true because since January, no one could imagine the opening of a class in Solenzo.

“3 to 4 months of lessons and composing the same subjects as the students who started in October, it’s a big challenge for everyone involved,” he said. The starting signal was given at 7:30 am.

The provincial director in charge of education added that “we opened classes on February 20 and it is a process started so that next year all the schools can open. We pay a vibrant tribute to the FDS because it is they who have cleared and we have sown. So we are going to pray that everything goes well and the expected results will be our harvest to all”.

The FDS have reassured education stakeholders to do everything possible for the smooth running of this 2023 session.
