Bingo: The International African Rail Transport Company (SITARAIL) organized a local awareness campaign at the unguarded level crossing in Bingo, located in Boulkiemd© province, to address the risks of railway accidents.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative is designed to prevent accidents by educating local residents on the importance of adhering to safety regulations within railway areas. The SITARAIL representative called for increased vigilance at railway crossings and stressed the importance of keeping children away from these areas. He declared that rail safety is a shared responsibility and encouraged participants to disseminate this message within their communities.
The event saw participation from Lamourdia ‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬°ric Ouoba, the second vice-president of the special delegation of Bingo, His Majesty Naaba Ambga, Chief of the canton of Bingo, and various municipal agents, students, and local residents.
While the initiative was well-received, the people of Bingo expressed a significant concern: the need to convert the current crossing into a guarded one by employing security personnel from the municipality.
