Dano, The memory of the late AIB correspondent in Bougouriba, Sansan Natal Dah was honored through a posthumous dedication concert of his third album in Diébougou, on Saturday September 30, 2023, the AIB learned.
Many friends, colleagues, parents, music lovers, godfathers and fans of the musician artist Natal Dah came to honor his memory on the occasion of the first anniversary of his death (September 30, 2022 / 42 years old)
The illustrious deceased had several strings to his bow. Indeed, a teacher by profession, he was a journalist/correspondent of the AIB, then an English teacher in colleges, and he led the life of a musical artist.
The chief executive officer (CEO) of the “Nounouon” Production studio, Auguste Da, is the initiator of this evening of tribute to Natal Dah.
This event was marked by the posthumous dedication concert of Natal's third album, called “We are Gods”.
For Auguste Da, this posthumous dedication concert was organized to celebrate the musical heritage of Natal Dah.
He recalled the merits and qualities of the man. For him, Natal Dah was special. This posthumous album is the fruit of his love for music, his passion for art and his deep desire to touch people's hearts, continued the CEO of “Nounouon” Production.
“I am proud to play a role in realizing his ultimate dream: sharing his 3rd album with the world,” he added.
He said that work has been done to make this album faithful to Natal's artistic vision. This is why Auguste Da thanked the musicians who graciously participated in the production of the album.
He hopes that Natal Dah will remain in people's hearts forever. On behalf of the godfathers, Djème Palenfo said he was saddened by the premature disappearance of Natal Dah.
According to him, his music transcended barriers and borders. This music brought us all together and continues to do so today, he noted.
For Mr. Palenfo, this evening is a tribute to Natal but also a reminder of the importance of music in our daily lives.
“We are gathered to express our gratitude for the moments of joy brought to us by all the melodies of the artist who rocked our lives” indicated Djème Palenfo.
Natal Dah's third album was presented to the public. Fans obtained the discs containing the album's tracks.
To the sound of Natal Dah's musical repertoire, music lovers performed dance steps. This tribute animation ended with the flagship title “We are Gods” from Natal Dah's posthumous album.
