Boulkiemd©’s DPESFTP Contributes Over 6 Million FCFA to ‘Faso Mªbo’

Boulkiemd©: In a remarkable display of patriotism, the Provincial Directorate of Secondary Education, Technical and Vocational Training (DPESFTP) of Boulkiemd© demonstrated its support in kind and in cash worth 6.6 million FCFA for national construction on Saturday, February 21, AIB observed.

According to Burkina Information Agency, a true synergy of actors has taken place within the educational community of Boulkiemd©. Responding to the call for donations launched by the highest authorities of the country, the provincial directorate was able to mobilize all its active forces so as not to be left out of this historic surge of solidarity.

Under the leadership of the provincial director, Mr. Hyacinthe Yam©ogo, accompanied for the occasion by his close collaborators as well as the principal of the Koudougou Provincial High School, Athanase Yameogo, the delegation proceeded with the official handover of this contribution.

This gesture is the result of an exemplary chain of solidarity: from department heads to school principals, from educational supervisors to teachers, and all the way to the students. Each participant made a financial or material sacrifice, proving that school is not only a place of learning, but also the cradle of civic responsibility and patriotic commitment.

'All the links were mobilized. Everyone was able to give what little they had, which allowed us to raise this sum to participate in the public construction work,' Mr. Yam©ogo emphasized with satisfaction.

The nature of the donation reflects a desire to meet the immediate needs of the development projects. Construction materials included 120 tons of granite, supplemented by fine sand, as well as 1.5 tons of cement. The support also included food: 10 25-liter containers of oil and various other food items (bags of rice and pasta). A financial contribution of 1,500,000 FCFA in cash was also provided, bringing the total contribution to 6.6 million FCFA, which will strengthen Faso Mªbo's operational capacity in the Nando region.

Through this act, the educational world reaffirms its role as a pillar in the rebuilding of the nation, showing the way through example and collective sacrifice.
