In the first quarter of 2024, Burkinabe customs recovered 262.22 billion FCFA out of a forecast of 261.22 billion FCFA, i.e. a recovery rate of 100.38% , the AIB learned on Monday.With this 2024 performance, the General Directorate of Customs (DGD) mobilizes 19.07 billion FCFA more than in 2023 for the same period, an increase of 7.84%.On a forecast of 261.22 billion FCFA, the DGD was able to mobilize 262.22 billion FCFA, in the first quarter of 2024, for an achievement rate of 100.38%.As a reminder, for the 2024 budget year and in accordance with the initial finance law, the DGD must mobilize 1,106.20 billion FCFA.This forecast is an increase of 106.20 billion FCFA, or 10.62% compared to that of last year, which was 1000 billion FCFA.Source: Burkina Information Agency
