Ouagadougou: The High Authority for State Control and the Fight against Corruption (ASCE-LC), assured yesterday Monday that embezzlement of public funds has greatly decreased in Burkina.'Behavior regarding the management of public funds is no longer the same. The embezzlement of funds has decreased significantly,' said the interim boss of ASCE-LC, Urbain Millogo, on Monday.Mr. Millogo, whose comments were reported by the Communications Directorate of the Prime Minister, added that this change came about thanks to the fear of the 'policeman'.The Acting State Controller General, Urbain Milogo, presented to Prime Minister Me Apollinaire Kyelem de Tambèla the activity report of his institution, financial year 2022.Source: Burkina Information Agency
