Boulsa: Members of the Namentenga Retirees Association convened in Boulsa for their annual general meeting, where the primary focus was on addressing irregular pension payments affecting some members. The assembly took place on Saturday, December 6, 2025.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the General Assembly reviewed the association's moral and financial report, expressing a strong desire to resolve the pension irregularities by the end of 2026. The meeting included discussions on the association's involvement in member events, organizing New Year's greetings for 2025, and other activities such as furniture provision, medical visits, and contributions to peace efforts.

Additional topics included the association's role in the presidential initiative Faso Mebo and the determination of the final site for the association's structure. The assembly also conveyed gratitude to Adama Bationo, head of the Boulsa branch of the National Social Security Fund (CNSS), for his support, and acknowledged the presence of the Koulse regional retirees' office mission, led by President Lazare Zabre.

Amidou Philippe Bonkoungou, president of the Namentenga Retirees Association, praised the members for their achievements in 2025 and encouraged the retirees to enroll in the Universal Health Insurance Scheme (RAM) on December 12, 2025. He also urged those affected by the pension irregularities to actively seek resolutions to their issues and extended well wishes for a prosperous 2026 to all members.
