The Combatant Forces neutralized nearly 70 terrorists in the area of Tikaré (Centre-Nord) and Kompienga (East) where they recovered combat equipment, the AIB learned on Thursday from secure sources.

On Thursday July 27, 2023 in the morning, a large-scale attack led by a hundred terrorists targeted a VDP position in Kompienga.

But thanks to the perfect synergy between the VDPs and the FDS, the enemies were pushed back leaving behind them, about twenty corpses of their comrades and a large quantity of combat equipment.

There are motorcycles, heavy weapons, ammunition and communication equipment and explosives.

Despite some injuries recorded at their level, the Combatant Forces are still on a war footing to confront the attackers.

On the Center-North front, more precisely in Tikaré, the air vectors followed on the evening of Wednesday July 26, 2023, around fifty criminals from their incursion into the village of Goanga to their base in Denguilga.

When the attackers thought they were safe, the air assets fired several times and successfully on their hideout.

According to the sources of the AIB, the operations of reconquest and restoration of peace, continue on all the theaters of operations.
