Officials and leaders of the Coordination of Citizen Watch Associations of the North (CAVC/Nord) warned on Monday any attempt to destabilize Burkina Faso during a press conference, observed an AIB journalist on site in the town of Naba Kango.This press conference was an opportunity for the Coordination to make itself better known and to give their reading on several subjects linked to national news.Gathered around the coordinator of the citizen watch of Yatenga Assami Guiro and the person responsible for the month of citizen watch Adama Komé and spokesperson for the coordination, several defenders of the Transition government and President Ibrahim Traoré attended the press conference which was organized in the afternoon of this Monday, April 8, 2024 in Ouahigouya.It was through an introductory statement that the organizers of the meeting gave the objective of the press briefing. 'Our stoic duty obliges us to give not only our position on the revolutionary providential management of our country under the leadership of Captain Ibrahim Traoré but also to put again and again the imperialists and all those who row against the evolution of the proud Burkinabè people »Supported Adama Komé.In turn, those responsible for citizen monitoring highlighted the achievements of the transition in terms of diplomacy, socio-economic development and in the theater of operations. 'We are at war against terrorism and any attempt to divert our fighting forces will be severely punished. We call for national unity and solidarity to face these challenges. The stability and security of Burkina are our top priority. »The members of the dozen citizen monitoring associations castigated the recent statements on social networks by journalist Inoussa Ouédraogo calling for a revolt against the transition regime.'It is important to emphasize that Inoussa Ouédraogo is a lost young man, manipulated by politicians who have all fled the country out of opportunism, therefore we strongly condemn any attempt to destabilize our country at this crucial time when we are engaged in a struggle fierce against terrorism,' they said.The interventions ended with thanks to the President of the transition and his government, the FDS and VDP, religious and customary leaders and the resilient people of Burkina Faso.Source: Burkina Information Agency
