Ouagadougou: The municipality of Dokuy has authorized the recruitment of agents to strengthen its workforce. The special delegation of the municipality approved the opening of professional competitions on Monday, August 24, 2026, as part of an initiative to offer 140 positions for local authorities from 2026 to 2028. This decision also includes signing an agreement with the National Agency for Support to the Development of Local Authorities (ADCT).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the extraordinary session of the special delegation, led by Abdoul Ouahbidi Sibri 2 Guingan, the President of the special delegation of the commune of Dokuy, addressed four key points. These included authorizing professional competitions, deliberating on the recruitment of municipal agents, signing an agreement with ADCT, and discussing various miscellaneous items.

The delegation agreed to open three professional competitions aimed at recruiting administrative attach©s, administrative assistants, and financial services assistants for the municipality. This move is part of an effort to enhance the administrative capabilities of the local workforce.

The session further approved the signing of an agreement with ADCT. This agreement is aligned with the ADCT’s initiative to provide 140 positions to local authorities, focusing on recruitment, training, and salary payments for the beneficiary agents over the 2026-2028 period.

In addition to the recruitment discussions, the session also addressed miscellaneous items, which included the reopening of the Knkuy school and the deforestation of the grazing area in Dokuy.
