Diapaga: The special municipal delegation of Diapaga organized, on June 30, 2026, a meeting with education stakeholders to popularize emergency education policies and consolidate the strategy in emergency situations. The commune of Diapaga is experiencing difficulties due to the security and humanitarian context. This situation has led to the closure of some education services, particularly in primary and post-primary education, resulting in an increase in the dropout rate, as well as the temporary relocation of some education services.

According to Burkina Information Agency, to effectively address these concerns, the municipality of Diapaga organized a consultation meeting for education stakeholders on strategies to be implemented to ensure the continuity of education in this context marked by strong security challenges. The president of the special municipal delegation of Diapaga, Yambi Bamogo, stated that the objective of the meeting is to help ensure continuity in the delivery of primary and post-primary education services.

To achieve this, the 80 participants, through communication provided by Fran§ois Diassibo D'Assise Gnoula, worked on a participatory analysis of the results obtained, evaluated the performances, identified the challenges, and outlined prospects for improvement. For the participants, this activity helped strengthen the effectiveness, quality, accountability, and impact of interventions for children and vulnerable people.

The highlights of the meeting included a presentation on the impact of insecurity on the local education system, methods for adapting to ensure educational continuity, mechanisms for securing schools that remained open, suggestions, recommendations, and the establishment of a monitoring committee.
