Bobo-dioulasso: Endeavour Mining has pledged a financial contribution of 25 million FCFA to promote Burkinabe culture as part of the National Culture Week (SNC) scheduled from April 25 to May 2, 2026. The agreement was signed Wednesday in collaboration with the Ministry in charge of Culture, aiming to support cultural preservation and income-generating activities.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the contribution by Endeavour Mining underscores the company's commitment as a development partner, actively working alongside the State and the people of Burkina Faso. The initiative will see the company showcasing talents and expertise from communities around its Hounde and Mana sites. This will be achieved through a dedicated stand promoting products from local cooperatives, reflecting ongoing efforts towards the economic empowerment of these communities.
Furthermore, Endeavour Mining will participate in the communities village, where traditional Wamisse troupes from Dohoun and Benkadi from Wona will display local cultural identities. This involvement highlights the company's dedication to supporting local artistic expressions and cultural heritage.
