Zabr©: The first raising of the 2025 national colors in Zabr© was held this Monday morning at the Zabr© town hall. On this occasion, the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) called for the consolidation of social cohesion. The event was significant for the municipality, featuring the presence of administrative, customary, and religious authorities, along with the vital forces of the community.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was scheduled for 7:30 a.m., but attendees began gathering at 7:20 a.m. at the foot of the flagpole. The event unfolded with the national anthem playing as the national colors were raised, creating an atmosphere of solemnity and patriotism.
Alain Boubi© Bassono, the Prefect and President of the Special Delegation of Zabr©, addressed the crowd, extending his wishes to the population. He expressed a desire for the sustainable return of peace and security to Zabr© and the broader region of Burkina Faso. Bassono emphasized the importance of social cohesion among the populations of Zabr©, encouraging the strengthening of citizen monitoring and the cultivation of dialogue to manage disputes effectively.
He also commended the collaboration between the various State services and the community's vital forces, urging them to continue their efforts to maintain harmonious cohabitation. In his closing remarks, Bassono urged all participants to resume their daily activities, contributing to local and national development. He highlighted the necessity of collective commitment to support the efforts of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, in preserving the sovereignty of Burkina Faso.
