Namentenga Commander Stresses Punctuality at School Flag Ceremony

Namentenga: The commander of the Cheetah unit, G©rard Sindogo, emphasized the importance of punctuality to teachers and students during a flag-raising ceremony in Boulsa, the capital of Namentenga province, on Monday, January 13, 2025.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony occurred at Boulsa ‘A’ school in the Center-North region. Commander Sindogo expressed concern over the lack of punctuality observed at the school, noting that when he arrived at 6:45 am, only four students were present, and some teachers and students showed up after the flag-raising began at 7:30 am.

Sindogo highlighted the significance of setting a good example for the children, stressing that without proper education, there is a risk that external influences could negatively impact the youth. He committed to attending the daily flag-raising and lowering ceremonies at various schools within his jurisdiction to reinforce this message.

During the event, Sindogo extended his wishes for health, peace, and security for the new year to the teachers. In response, Sibri Koudougou, the director of Boulsa “A” school, assured the commander that measures would be taken to prevent future delays in attendance.
