Gogo: The PDS and its delegation have extended their congratulations and encouragement to the supervisors and students of the Departmental High School and the CEG of Gogo for their involvement in a civic and patriotic training program. The President of the Special Delegation of the Gogo Commune, Issa Tiendrebeogo, along with the Secretary General of the Town Hall, paid a visit to the students and their supervisors at the Gogo Departmental High School to support this initiative, which commenced on January 14, 2026.
According to Burkina Information Agency, during the visit, President Tiendrebeogo praised the dedication of all participants and offered his encouragement to the security forces, including police and forestry personnel, who are tasked with imparting military and disciplinary values to the students. He emphasized the importance of diligence, punctuality, and adherence to instructions among the students.
Djakaridja Ouattara, the principal of the Gogo Departmental High School and supervisor of the training, highlighted the program as a valuable opportunity for students to learn order and discipline, which are expected to positively impact their academic and daily lives. The visit included a demonstration by students, overseen by the technical staff, showcasing the skills and knowledge gained from the program.
The PDS took the occasion to distribute 20 sachets of water to the participants, reinforcing their support for the initiative. The program in Gogo commune includes 696 students, comprising both girls and boys, in the intermediate grades of 6th, 5th, 4th, 2nd, and 1st.
