Koosin: The headmaster of Dankolon Public Primary School has called on the educational community to embrace the presidential vision during the celebration of Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation Day (JEPPC) held on April 6, 2026.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event featured a flag-raising ceremony in the school courtyard, organized under the directives of the Basic Education District (CEB). The ceremony was attended by teaching staff, school council members, and local traditional and religious authorities.
During the event, school principal Karim Barro reiterated the message from Burkina Faso's President, Captain Ibrahim Traore, urging citizens to prioritize local consumption and strive for economic and cultural sovereignty. Barro highlighted the importance of patriotic commitment and encouraged wearing local clothing and purchasing local products as a means to achieve true independence.
The school council's chairman recognized the significance of the principal's appeal and praised his efforts to engage the local community in spreading the President's message effectively.
