Koosin: The President of Burkina Faso's message explained in Doumbala: As part of the Day of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC), the literacy center and the "B" school joined forces on Monday, April 6, 2026, for the raising of the colors.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the National Day of Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation (JEPPC) saw the literacy center and School "B" collaborate to elevate the significance of the ceremony. Participants attended the event dressed in Kokodonda, traditional attire, blending formality with festivity.
During the occasion, the national anthem was sung in Dioula to accompany the raising of the national flag. Ramatou Drame, the headmistress of School "B," played a crucial role by translating the message from the President of Burkina Faso for the benefit of the students' parents and local authorities.
In preparation for the flag-raising ceremony, a community cleanup day was organized. The village streets and school grounds were meticulously cleaned, marking the first activity of its kind in the area. This initiative fostered a sense of social cohesion and involved members from all segments of the village community.
