Nahouri:Health workers from the P´ health district in Nahouri province recently held the fourth edition of their relaxation day at Pic Nahouri, focusing on fraternity and unity.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event took place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, and provided healthcare professionals with a break from their demanding schedules. Activities included hiking to the peak, exploring a shopping street, enjoying tastings, and participating in board games.

Dr. Lucien Ou©draogo, chairman of the organizing committee, stated that the annual event aims to strengthen social cohesion among public and private sector employees in the province while also promoting domestic tourism. He highlighted the significance of acknowledging the healthcare workers' contributions to community well-being. The event allowed participants to unwind and return to their duties reinvigorated.

The initiative also fostered familial bonding among the healthcare workers, as noted by Dr. Ou©draogo. Dr. Boukar© Wanr©, the chief medical officer of the P´ health district, commended the dedication of healthcare workers who consistently deliver quality care under challenging conditions. He expressed his pleasure in seeing the staff engage in recreational activities, emphasizing the importance of recognizing the human side of these professionals.

Dr. Wanr© expressed hope that the event would energize the teams to continue effectively meeting the population's needs. The fourth edition also included representatives from private firms and staff from the P´ military garrison infirmary.
