Bobo-Dioulasso: A delegation led by the head of the canton of Kofila, located in the province of Houet, officially presented a check for 514,000 CFA francs to the governor of the Hauts-Bassins region on the morning of Monday April 15, 2024 in Bobo-Dioulasso.The canton of Kofila located in the province of Houet is engaged in the reconquest of national territory and the management of the security crisis in Burkina Faso.It is in this spirit that this canton, covering around thirty villages in three communes (Padéma, Satiri and Lèna), presented a check for 514,000 CFA francs to the governor of Hauts-Bassins, Mariama Konaté, as a contribution to the peace effort.The official delivery of the check took place on the morning of Monday April 15, 2024 in the governorate of Bobo-Dioulasso.A delegation led by the canton chief, Bakary Milllogo, and composed of village chiefs and notables mobilized for the occasion.According to the canton chief, this gesture, which is support for the transition, is intended to be symbolic.'This check is to encourage the president and his entire team so that Burkina Faso finds peace,' said Bakary Millogo.For him, the reconquest of the national territory is more than a necessity.'We are committed to supporting the authorities so that they can liberate our country.
