Ioba High School Graduates Encouraged to Embrace Patriotic Immersion

Ioba: The High Commissioner of Ioba province, Innocent Ouattara, urged the first promotion of candidates for the patriotic immersion program to engage fully in the scheduled activities during a gathering at the town hall courtyard in Dano.

According to Burkina Information Agency, 693 high school graduates from the province have arrived in Gaoua to participate in the immersion program. The Ioba Provincial Directorate of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training (DPESFPT) has recorded all present candidates. Before their journey, Innocent Ouattara congratulated the students on their baccalaureate admission and offered words of encouragement.

"I would like to congratulate you on your admission to the baccalaureate. I encourage you to persevere," Ouattara stated, expressing his satisfaction with the students' motivation to partake in the patriotic immersion initiated by the highest authorities. He emphasized the program's potential to strengthen their commitment to the state.

Ouattara urged the candidates to take full advantage of the courses and activities offered. He encouraged them to be pioneers of the initiative and to represent the province of Ioba with exemplary behavior in Gaoua. The ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of the province, Andr© Lankoand©, and the DPESFPT of Ioba, Joseph Kima.

To facilitate transport, eleven buses were arranged for the graduates, with boarding occurring at accommodation sites in Bafudji. Some graduates, already in Gaoua for competitive exams, will join their peers for the program. Parents gathered to witness the departure of their children, marking the beginning of their participation in the patriotic immersion in the Dj´r´ region.
