Houet: As part of its Pan-African Mobilization Days, the Patriotic Mobilization of Civic Senses (MPSC) movement organized a public conference on Sunday at the Guiriko Regional Council on the theme: "Progressive and popular revolution, achievements and challenges to be met for an African mobilization."
According to Burkina Information Agency, the conference was held under the patronage of the Governor of the Guiriko region, represented by Research Officer Mr. Fouss©ni Traor©, and under the sponsorship of Lieutenant-Colonel Lassan© Porgo, Commander of the 2nd Military Region. The event was chaired by His Majesty, the Chief of the Bobo canton.
The conference was moderated by Mr. Bationo de Kyon and Lieutenant-Colonel Porgo, focusing on the achievements of African popular struggles and the major challenges for effective pan-African mobilization.
In his speech, the Governor's representative highlighted several key moments of the conference, including the immersion in Faso Mªbo, which symbolizes attachment to values such as sovereignty and endogenous development. The event also featured an inter-community gala match that promoted fraternity and cohesion, as well as a forum of pan-African leaders, which served as both a memory of past struggles and a source of inspiration for future endeavors.
At the conclusion of the 2025 Pan-African Mobilization Days, the Governor expressed her pride and gratitude for the quality of the discussions and the strength of the commitments made. She emphasized the importance of building the desired Africa in the present, urging participants to remember that "the Africa we want will not be built elsewhere, nor tomorrow, but here and now, by ourselves and for ourselves."
