Ouagadougou: Those called up for the Mandatory Patriotic Immersion (IPO), 2026 session in Kaya, translated into action the civic and patriotic values acquired during their training, on Friday, through a financial contribution and a day of work for the benefit of the Faso Mªbo initiative.

According to Burkina Information Agency, at the end of a month of immersion devoted in particular to learning the values of patriotism, civic-mindedness, and civic engagement, the young high school graduates mobilized on September 11, 2026, at the headquarters of Faso Mªbo in Kaya. They presented a contribution of 160,750 CFA francs, collected from the entire graduating class, before dedicating their day to making paving stones for the benefit of the organization.

For the spokesperson of the promotion, Ayouba Oudraogo, this action constitutes a first collective practical application of the lessons received during the IPO. "As we emerge from this patriotic immersion, we must adopt these patriotic behaviors and be able to actively contribute to the well-being of our homeland," he said, inviting young people in particular to join this movement.
