Kindi: The municipal school council members for 40 schools in Kindi were officially elected and installed during a session at the town hall's reception hall.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was overseen by Jean Yves Ahmed Sanou, President of the Special Delegation of Kindi, alongside Sadou Yameogo, Head of the Basic Education District, and Yacouba Sore, Secretary General of the Town Hall.
The ceremony was attended by school board presidents, religious leaders, and local officials from agriculture and environment services. The assembly, following an introduction by the Progressive Socialist Party's President, conducted elections based on specific representativeness criteria to form the new executive committee.
The committee's leadership includes President Jean Yves Ahmed Sanou, General Secretary Ms. Zongo nee Zoma Sabine, Treasurer Mr. Jean Bouake Kabore, Head of Information Mr. Vincent Kabore, and Head of Educational Quality Mr. Amado Kabore. To maintain transparency and effective actions, two monitoring bodies were established: an observers' committee, comprising the CCEB and heads of Agriculture/Livestock and Environment services, and a control office, led by Sebastien Zoundi and Jean Paul Kabore.
In his closing remarks, the President stressed the voluntary nature of the new officials' mission, urging them to act with selflessness and dedication to advance the municipality's educational development objectives. This installation signifies Kindi's commitment to engaging local stakeholders in enhancing local educational management and quality.
