Ouagadougou: Koankin Public Primary School, in the Basic Education District (CEB) of Binde, organized its traditional Day of Excellence on Wednesday, during which school kits and bicycles were given to the most deserving students in order to promote a culture of excellence in schools.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was presided over by the director of the establishment, Hubert Oudouga, and attended by students, teachers, parents, and a delegation from the CEB led by BPRIME manager, Mohamadi Nana. The event, themed "Excellence and educational revolution, our ambition for the influence of education," recognized top students with school supply kits, while the most outstanding received bicycles for their academic performance. The awards aim to foster effort, perseverance, and academic success among students.

Hubert Oudouga, the school director, expressed satisfaction with the school year's achievements, highlighting the commitment of teachers, student diligence, and parental support. He also discussed educational reforms, such as the introduction of school uniforms and promotion of school gardens, to enhance discipline, school identity, and food self-sufficiency.

Furthermore, Oudouga announced plans to establish a school field to teach agricultural techniques and support the school canteen's supply. The ceremony concluded with Mr. Oudouga expressing gratitude to the educational administration, donors, parents, and local authorities for their support of children's education.
