Ouagadougou: The municipality of Komsilga honored its most deserving employees on Thursday during the "96 Hours of the Municipal Employee," an initiative designed to promote excellence and boost staff motivation. Yanogo Aude Marie Adeline was named the municipality's best employee, receiving a certificate of merit and a prize of 200,000 CFA francs.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of the Special Delegation of Komsilga, Antarest Batiana, stressed that recognizing the work done by the agents is a lever of motivation to consolidate the achievements and strengthen the efficiency of the local administration. For the head of the municipality, this distinction aims to recognize the efforts of the agents who contribute daily to improving the performance of the administration and achieving the development objectives of the municipality. He indicated that the quality of services offered to the population depends above all on the dedication and professionalism of municipal employees.
The recipient indicated that she accepted this award with humility, while dedicating it to her family and all of her colleagues for their sustained support, emphasizing that this award is an invitation to do better. "This distinction is a source of satisfaction. I am delighted to thank the authorities of the special delegation for this initiative of recognition. This distinction calls on me to do better for the happiness of the users," she stated.
In total, 41 agents were celebrated, including three recipients, by the Special Delegation through the 96 hours of the municipal agent, an initiative aimed at promoting excellence, strengthening staff motivation, and improving local governance. The 96 hours of the municipal agent were launched on July 16, 2026, following the municipality's accountability session, dedicated to the presentation of the management report for the year 2025.
