Koubri: A Collective Breaking of the Fast to Strengthen Social Cohesion

Koubri: The Koubri Municipal Coordination of Citizen Watch Associations (CCAVC) organized a collective breaking of the fast at the bypass roundabout, mobilizing members of the special delegation, Muslim faithful, association leaders, as well as directors and heads of department. Placed under the chairmanship of the president of the special delegation (PDS), Mr. Samade Leonard Gougou, this fraternal meeting is part of a dynamic of strengthening social cohesion and living together within the municipality.

According to Burkina Information Agency, in an atmosphere of solidarity and sharing, participants came together around the values of peace, unity, and tolerance, during this period of fasting marked by reflection and generosity. Speaking at the event, the president of the CCAVC, Mr. Tassembedo, indicated that this initiative aims to raise awareness among the population about the importance of civic values. "Through this initiative, we want to send a strong message to the people of Koubri about the crucial need to cultivate the values of solidarity, unity, citizenship, and above all, patriotism," he stated.

For his part, the PDS, Samade Leonard Gougou, commended the commitment of citizen watchdog associations to promoting social peace. He took the opportunity to urge the population to remain united and in solidarity in the face of current challenges. 'Social cohesion is our greatest asset. It is by remaining united, supportive, and committed that we can build a strong, resilient, and development-oriented community,' he stated. He also encouraged the proliferation of such initiatives, which contribute to strengthening social bonds and promoting a climate of lasting peace in the Koubri community.
