Kourittenga’s Back-to-School Review and Humanitarian Efforts Discussed at Provincial Consultation Framework.

Kourittenga: The 2nd session of the Provincial Consultation Framework (CCP) of Kourittenga took place in Koupéla under the leadership of the High Commissioner, Moctar Ilboudo. The meeting concentrated on preparations for the new school year and the current humanitarian actions within the province.

According to Burkina Information Agency, High Commissioner Moctar Ilboudo expressed gratitude to the attendees for their participation. He emphasized the framework’s role in ensuring the province’s development through coordinated intervention approaches and information exchange among stakeholders. This aligns with the action plan for stabilization and development, which serves as a central guideline for the country’s territorial and economic advancement from 2023 to 2025.

During the session, members reviewed the report from the previous CCP session and presented an analysis of the administrative and academic return to school for primary and secondary education. Discussions also included the management of internall
y displaced persons (IDPs) and insights from the Belgian Development Agency, a financial partner of the framework.

Roukyiatou Kocty from the Kourittenga Provincial Directorate of Water and Sanitation praised the initiative, highlighting the importance of addressing all concerns. She expressed hope for future sessions and appreciated learning about the OHADA act and the procedures for registering cooperative societies.

Ouboli Marcel Yogo, provincial director in charge of primary education, assured authorities of the smooth start to the 2024-2025 school year, noting that no classes had closed in Kourittenga during the previous year. He attributed this success to the resilience of the community, especially overcoming previous concerns in Andemtenga.
