Pila:The head of the Pila Departmental Environment Service, Lieutenant Belemou Ali of the Water and Forestry Service, has bid farewell to local authorities, decentralized services, and his colleagues. The farewell took place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, as he prepared to take up his new post in the Nando region.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the farewell ceremony was presided over by Boureima Taram, the president of the special delegation of Pila. It was held in the afternoon at the environmental department and attended by heads of municipal services, traditional and religious authorities, as well as representatives of associations and village groups.

The provincial director of the Environment was represented by Lieutenant Ciss Yaya, head of the Bilanga environmental department. During the ceremony, PDS Boureima Taram congratulated Lieutenant Belemou Ali and assured him of the local authorities' commitment to maintaining their connection after his departure. "Lieutenant, you are leaving Pila, but we will always be connected. Keep your phone on," Taram said.

Lieutenant Belemou Ali expressed gratitude to his colleagues for their support throughout his service. He said, "To all my colleagues, thank you for your support. May God bless Pila and Burkina Faso."

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of gifts to Lieutenant Belemou Ali from his colleagues, as a token of appreciation for his dedicated service in Pila. He is now set to continue his career in the Nando region.
