On the occasion of its 10th celebrated on Saturday May 11, 2024 in the city of Bankuy, the Déli Fara Mandi Association of Women of Dédougou, mobilized the sum of 200 thousand CFA francs to contribute to the peace effort.The Déli Fara Mandi Association of Women of Dédougou has been in existence for ten years.To mark this event, she initiated 48 hours under the theme: 'Let us dare to show solidarity to promote peace', with the aim of contributing to the preservation of social cohesion through the strengthening of solidarity between host populations and displaced people. internal (PDI).Also, this commemoration was an opportunity for the members of the association to symbolically contribute to the peace effort with an envelope of 200 thousand CFA francs.During the 48 hours, several awareness-raising activities were carried out for the benefit of the association's members.With the support of the regional directorate in charge of human rights, a debate was organized on the theme: 'contribution of women to the promotion of social cohesion and peace'.For the president, Nadège Drabo, this celebration is a mark of recognition for past actions, but also an opportunity to strengthen commitment to the preservation of social cohesion and peace in the Boucle du Mouhoun.'For a decade, the association has strived to promote solidarity between host populations and internally displaced people,' she recalled.She said she was proud to see that their efforts had borne fruit.
