Houet: Muslim worshippers in Satiri gathered on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in the locality’s prayer space, on the occasion of the celebration of Eid al-Adha, in an atmosphere of religious fervor and fraternal communion. Beginning at 8:30 a.m., the grand prayer was led by Imam Adama Sanou, in the presence of many faithful who came to implore peace, stability, and social cohesion for Burkina Faso.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Imam Adama Sanou, in his sermon, called on the people to unite and show solidarity in order to support the authorities in their efforts to restore peace. He urged the people of Burkina Faso to join hands to strengthen social cohesion and community spirit.
The religious leader also offered prayers for peace, tolerance, love of neighbor, and a good winter season for the benefit of agricultural producers. He also offered a pious thought for the soldiers who fell on the field of honor, while extending his encouragement and compassion to their respective families.
Through this celebration, Muslim faithful renewed their prayers for a reconciled, united, and prosperous Burkina Faso.
