Nahouri: The Po prosecutor's office incinerated more than 4,000 cartons of cigarettes and a significant quantity of drugs on Friday, August 1, 2025, in P´, in the province of Nahouri. This operation marked a significant effort in fighting illegal trade and substance abuse in the region.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the public prosecutor of Faso at the High Court of P´, Alfred Banc©, praised the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) for their continuous efforts in combating the issues that threaten the well-being of society. He emphasized that the substantial seizure was made possible through the coordinated efforts of several units within the province.

Alfred Banc© reiterated the legal ramifications for those involved in the importation and distribution of these banned products, emphasizing that such actions are prosecutable offenses. He urged the local population to work closely with the FDS to prevent these destructive practices.

Furthermore, Mr. Banc© appealed to parents to educate their children responsibly, particularly about the dangers and legal consequences of drug-related offenses.
