Sourou: The Sourou Traders' Association offered sanitation equipment worth 1,150,000 FCFA to the special delegation of the commune of Tougan on Saturday, August 2, 2025, during a gutter cleaning operation.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Amicale des commer§ants du Sourou (ACS) donated sanitation equipment that includes five bins and one hundred vests to the special delegation of the commune of Tougan. The value of the donation was confirmed by Dj©n©ba D©m©, vice-president of the association.

Ms. D©m© stated that the purpose of the donation is to aid in the sanitation efforts of Tougan. She emphasized the importance of the equipment in helping users manage waste effectively to maintain cleanliness and prevent diseases associated with unsanitary conditions.

Ouigou Tiendreb©ogo, President of the special municipal delegation of Tougan, expressed appreciation for the donation. He noted that it would enhance the municipality's efforts in combating unsanitary conditions.

The special delegation of Tougan organizes community-wide gutter cleaning operations every Saturday to prevent flooding and improve the city's cleanliness.
