Nanoro Special Delegation Approves Land Use Plan


Nanoro: The special delegation of the municipality of Nanoro held its second ordinary session of the year, approving its Land Use Plan (POS).



According to Burkina Information Agency, the session, chaired by the president of the special delegation (PDS), Nourou Guiguemd©, took place in the town hall meeting room. The High Commissioner of the province of Boulkiemd©, Salamata Ou©draogo/Sanou, was also in attendance. This meeting aimed to address four main points: the amendment and adoption of the minutes from the first ordinary session, validation of the Land Use Plan, examination and adoption of a resolution for a partnership agreement with the NGOURDAM Pro-ARIDES Project, along with other communications and miscellaneous items.



The meeting’s focal point was the thorough review of the POS, an essential Plan of Action. The technical team responsible for drafting the document addressed concerns raised by members of the special delegation, leading to its adoption by acclamation.



Salamata Ou©draogo/Sanou, the High Commissioner of Boulkiemd©, welcomed the initiative and emphasized its importance as a tool for local development. She urged both administrative and municipal authorities to ensure rigorous implementation of the document’s provisions.



Nourou Guiguemd©, the PDS of Nanoro, expressed gratitude to the High Commissioner for her support and constant presence. He called on all stakeholders and partners to commit fully to implementing the session’s resolutions, which are crucial for the commune’s prosperity.
