National Anthem Sung in Moor© and Traditional Dishes Celebrated at Nanoro C School

Nanoro: The President of the Special Delegation of Nanoro presided over a flag-raising ceremony at Nanoro C public primary school, featuring local dishes as part of the celebration.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this event was part of the National Days of Patriotic Engagement and Civic Participation. Students sang the national anthem, Ditany¨, in Moor©, showcasing a deep sense of national pride.

Local dishes such as babenda, piigri, balanites leaves, and gnon were served, bringing together local authorities and residents. The event aimed to spread the message of patriotism from the Head of State to students and community leaders.

PDS Nourou Guiguemd© encouraged students to adopt values of good citizenship, aligning with the Popular Progressive Revolution ideals. He emphasized food sovereignty, promoting the slogan "My plate, my pride."

Salif Bouk© Tamou, headmaster of Nanoro C school, expressed his satisfaction with hosting the ceremony, highlighting its role in teaching children about the country's liberation and civic participation.

Elie P. Ribou, director of Nazoanga Early Childhood Development and Education Center, supported the initiative and committed to spreading the teachings to his colleagues and young children to instill patriotic values.
