Ouagadougou: The National Identification Office (ONI) brings the services for issuing the CIB-AES (International Bank Account Number) closer to Protestant worshippers. As part of the outreach efforts to facilitate obtaining the Biometric Identity Card of the Alliance of Sahel States (CIB-AES), the Nando branch of the National Identification Office (ONI) conducted a special collection operation on Thursday, July 16, for the benefit of the faithful of Protestant churches in Koudougou and its surrounding localities.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative reflects the institution's commitment to reaching out to the population to accelerate the voter registration process. The head of the local branch, Police Lieutenant Oumarou Savadogo, stated that these outreach efforts are intended to gradually expand to all localities in the Nando region and will target all religious denominations, without distinction.
Furthermore, the National Identification Office (ONI) informs users that numerous batches of CIB-AES identity cards are currently available at collection sites for those who have already registered. Applicants concerned are invited to go to these sites to collect their identity documents.
