Listening to the sponsor of the ceremony, Marie Désiré Yameogo, also administrator of APISAVANA, an NGO based in Koudougou which promotes honey, the celebration of Arbor Day is beneficial in the sense that without the tree, there is no life.And to explain: 'The tree is a factor of rain, apart from the fact that it plays a very important role in the protection of the plant cover, in human health, etc. »And he continued in these terms: 'We are aware that the consequences of deforestation caused by man are disastrous and we point to the unbearable heatwave of recent years as proof. »For all these reasons, concluded the sponsor, the mobilization of citizens around the tree is an imperative necessity.The president of the special delegation of the commune of Koudougou, Jonas Mané, said he was happy to welcome this event in the city of the red rider.
