Niangoloko: The municipal and Santa high schools of Niangoloko have qualified for the final of the 16th edition of the inter-school tournament, following the semi-finals played on April 12 and 19, 2026, on the municipal field.

According to Burkina Information Agency, during the second semi-final on April 19, 2026, the Municipal High School secured its place in the final by defeating the private Ephraim High School with a narrow 1-0 victory. This win came a week after Santa High School's commanding performance against CEG Foyer Senneville, where they won decisively with a score of 5-1 on April 12, 2026.

The tournament's grand final is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, where Municipal High School will face off against Santa High School. This match promises to be a competitive encounter between two teams that have demonstrated strong performances throughout the tournament.

The Niangoloko inter-school tournament, now in its 16th year, is an initiative by Hema Ousmane, also known as Ousbi. It aims to promote sports within schools while engaging the community's youth in the spirit of fair play and social cohesion each year.
