Niangoloko Municipal High School Honors Students and Encourages Civic Engagement

Comoe: The municipal high school celebrates academic excellence and promotes civic responsibility and patriotism. The Niangoloko Municipal High School, in the Comoe province, honored its most deserving students on Monday, February 23, 2026, during a solemn flag-raising ceremony, marked by a vibrant call for civic duty and patriotism.

According to Burkina Information Agency, honor rolls were awarded to the top students from 6th grade to 12th grade, in recognition of their academic performance and discipline. This initiative aims to encourage a culture of excellence within the school and to foster healthy competition among students.

In his speech, the principal, Mohamed Nabe, congratulated the winners for their work and perseverance, while inviting all students to redouble their efforts to raise the level of the high school even further. He stressed that academic success remains the result of discipline, respect for rules, and personal commitment.

The President of the special municipal delegation of Niangoloko, Ousseni Ouedraogo, urged the students to cultivate the values of civic duty and patriotism, guarantees of a harmonious development of the municipality and the country. Mr. Ouedraogo called on them to be role models in their families and in the city.

The ceremony was attended by the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), social partners, and faculty, demonstrating the importance placed on civic education and youth development. Through this event, the Niangoloko Municipal High School reaffirms its commitment to promoting academic excellence and republican values.
