Ouagadougou: Authorities set an example at the advocacy meeting for the mass treatment campaign against lymphatic filariasis and onchocerciasis. As part of the mass treatment campaign against lymphatic filariasis and onchocerciasis, administrative, customary, religious authorities and opinion leaders set an example in Bati© on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at the advocacy meeting for a successful campaign to be held from Friday, July 17 to Wednesday, July 22, 2026 in the province.

According to Burkina Information Agency, after more than two hours of communication and exchanges with the participants, the district medical officer (DMO) of Noumbiel, Comrade Dr Roland Wendnonga Konkobo, demonstrated, through the causes and consequences, the importance of this mass treatment campaign.

The High Commissioner of the province, Drissa Hema, urged all participants to fully play their role as relays in raising awareness among the population so that no eligible person refuses treatment.
