OSEP/Tcheriba: the Wézala school wins the trophy for the 2024 season

The closing of the sporting and cultural activities of the Basic Education District (CEB) of Tcheriba (Mouhoun) took place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, on the grounds of the village of Tikan. She saw the Wézala school win in football against that of Zekuy with a score of 5 goals to 4 on penalties, after a one-goal draw.This year, this final attracted the school world to the grounds of Tikan, the host village of the rotating organization of the competition. The Wézala school team, after a closely contested meeting, won the trophy for the 2024 season by winning the final on penalties.She wins the sum of 30,000 FCFA, the trophy, a ball, a set of jerseys and special prizes. For its part, the team ranked 2nd also leaves with the sum of 25,000 FCFA, a trophy and a set of jerseys.Besides football, competitions in many other disciplines such as speed, long jump and wrestling were also organized. They made it possible to reward winners with amounts ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 FCFA.For the sponsor, Mr. Issa P. BA OULA, it is a satisfaction and a challenge taken up in holding this edition of OSEP around the theme 'sport and culture, patriotic grounds for a resilient school'.He also praised the population of TIKAN for their great mobilization.
