Nahouri: More than 200 young individuals from Nahouri Province have embarked on a five-day training session focused on civic responsibility and patriotism. This initiative, spearheaded by Faso Bool, formerly known as the National Service for Development (SND), commenced on Monday, August 31, 2026, under the auspices of Nahouri Province's Secretary General, Emile Hien.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Emile Hien emphasized the importance of such training as a defense against societal challenges like disrespect for public property, corruption, intolerance, and a lack of integrity and solidarity. He remarked that by fostering these values among the youth, Faso Bool is laying a foundation for Burkina Faso's sustainable development.

Hien encouraged the participants to embrace openness, diligence, and an active listening attitude throughout the training. He expressed optimism that the knowledge gained would empower the youth to tackle current challenges and contribute positively to promoting Burkina Faso.

Commander Roger Sawadogo, representing the director general and serving as the director of training and production for Faso Bool, highlighted the training's significance. He described it as a call to responsibility and an effort to empower youths as change agents, crucial for restoring stability and greatness to Burkina Faso.

Throughout the five-day session, the youths will engage with key topics such as national patriotic service, civic duty, the fight against corruption, and the prevention of violent extremism, among others. These subjects aim to equip them to be beneficial members of their communities. Prior to the ceremony, attendees united in singing the anthem celebrating triumph over adversities.
