Sapouy: The provincial directorates in charge of Sports and Youth carried out an encouragement and partnership visit to the Latian Football Training Center on Wednesday. The delegation was led by Sylvestre Dramane Ouedraogo, Provincial Director of Sports, and his counterpart for Youth and Employment, Sekou Sabo. They visited the center's infrastructure, the training ground, the match broadcasting room, and the activity areas.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Sylvestre Dramane Ouedraogo expressed optimism about the center's future, stating, "We hope that in two, three, four or five years, the results will be truly enormous." He reassured the developer, Theophile Nebie, of the availability of his services to provide technical support, emphasizing that his department would be by their side to support them.
Sekou Sabo, the Director of Youth and Employment, addressed the residents with motivational words, highlighting discipline, perseverance, and hard work as keys to a successful sports career. The visit aimed to consolidate partnership ties with the center and strengthen support for local initiatives promoting sport and youth employment in the province of Ziro.
During the visit, the President of the Ouagadougou Renaissance Club presented two checkerboards and three sets of 6-a-side bowls to the Ziro Provincial Directorate of Youth and Employment. The visit concluded with a gala match played by the residents.
The Provincial Directors' approach is welcomed by the promoter and the residents, who view it as a strong signal of recognition and confidence in their mission to train the sporting talents of tomorrow.
