The High Commissioner of the Poni province, Lucien Guéguéré, on behalf of the governor of the South-West, Boureima Savadogo, installed the main police commissioner, Valentin Kaboré in his functions as Regional Director of Police national on Friday May 10, 2024 in Gaoua.The South West region has a new regional director of the National Police.This is the Chief Police Commissioner, Valentin Kaboré, until now provincial director of the Nahouri National Police.Appointed by the Council of Ministers on April 25, 2024, Valentin Kaboré was installed in his position by the High Commissioner of Poni, Lucien Guéguéré, representing the governor of the South-West. Mr. Kaboré thus replaces the divisional police commissioner Yacouba Ouattara, appointed regional director of the Eastern National Police.The outgoing DRPN spent 16 months and 20 days in this position.The new boss of the South-West National Police expressed his gratitude to the authorities and especially to his hierarchy for the trust placed in him.Awa re of the challenge ahead, he pledged 'never to betray this trust' by accomplishing the mission entrusted to him.The incoming regional director of the South West Police also congratulated his predecessor for all the work done and at the same time urged all staff to unity, discipline and mutual respect in order to lead carry out their common mission.'(…).
