Sourou: The Patriotic Movement for the Development of Sourou (MPDS) organized a gutter cleaning operation in the city of Tougan with the objective of preventing flooding. The operation took place around the large market in Tougan, where the MPDS unblocked the gutters to mitigate the risk of flooding, as stated by the movement's coordinator, Issouf Djibo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Issouf Djibo emphasized the importance of this activity during the rainy season. He noted that clogged gutters could lead to flooding if not addressed promptly. Djibo highlighted that the MPDS has previously conducted similar activities in Tougan and intends to continue such initiatives in the future.

Djibo urged the residents of Tougan to participate in community efforts to maintain a clean city, underscoring the collective responsibility in flood prevention efforts.
