Nando: The population of the village of H¨r¨dougou donates 147 bags of food to the VDP (Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland). The population of the village of H¨r¨dougou, located about twenty kilometers from Solenzo, donated 147 bags of 100 kg of cereals to the VDP this Saturday, February 7, 2026, in the presence of some members of the special delegation led by Marou Ilboudo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation consisted of 100 bags of 100 kg of rice, 33 bags of 100 kg of maize, and 14 bags of 100 kg of sorghum. The residents also offered the VDP 55 outfits worth 302,500 FCFA and a sum of 235,000 FCFA, which will be used to pay for fuel.

Large crowds turned out to cheer on the security forces and the VDP for their efforts in liberating the village from terrorists. This allowed them to reclaim their fields and achieve good harvests. For the PDS of the commune of Solenzo, Marou Ilboudo, this gesture is to be welcomed because, according to him, it is the understanding and the knowledge of living together of the populations that pushes them to make these gestures.

The resumption of activities at the village's CSPS and the widening of the lowland were grievances of the population towards the president of the special delegation of the commune of Solenzo.
