Ouagadougou: The women of the National Coordination of Citizen Watch Associations (CNAVC) of Kndougou presented, this Monday in Orodara, a financial contribution of 56,500 CFA francs intended to support the national solidarity program ‘Dm Sira’.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the contribution was presented to the High Commissioner of the Kndougou province, Sadou Sakira, during an audience he granted to a delegation led by the president of the women of the CNAVC/Kndougou, Saly Barro, accompanied by the provincial president of the said structure Hermann Konat.

Comrade Barro stated that this financial mobilization reflects the CNAVC women’s commitment to participating in national efforts to support vulnerable individuals. She indicated that, despite their limited resources, the organization’s members were determined to lend their support to this initiative, which promotes mutual aid, solidarity, and sharing within communities.

Upon receiving the donation, High Commissioner Sadou Sakira praised the gesture as meaningful and embodying civic values. He noted that this contribution demonstrates the commitment of the women of the CNAVC to working alongside public authorities in promoting national solidarity.

The provincial authority also reassured the donors that the sum will be transferred in accordance with established procedures through the relevant departments, so that it effectively contributes to the objectives pursued by the program.

The High Commissioner also urged associations, organizations and other vital forces in the province to strengthen their commitment to this dynamic of solidarity, with a view to increasing assistance provided to vulnerable people.
