Yargatenga: The people of Yargatenga came together on Monday, July 6, 2026, for a major sanitation operation at the Cinkans© Medical Center (CMC). The initiative, led by the President of the Special Delegation (PDS), was part of a visit by the special envoy to the Presidency of Faso for the Nakamb© region.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event saw participation from health workers, community health organizations, agricultural volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), local authorities, and residents. Equipped with shovels, picks, rakes, and brooms, the volunteers dedicated their time to cleaning and maintaining the area around the health facility. This collective effort aimed to provide a healthier environment for the center's users.

Mahamadou Saramb©, the President of the Special Delegation of Yargatenga, praised the community's mobilization, recognizing it as a significant civic act that promotes hygiene and disease prevention. He emphasized the importance of maintaining sanitary health facilities to mitigate disease spread and enhance patient care conditions.

Dr. Aboubacar Sidiki Ou©draogo, the Chief Medical Officer of CMC, expressed his gratitude to the municipal authorities and participants. He highlighted the crucial role of community involvement and local authorities' support in enhancing the healthcare setting.

Adaman Kambon©, the representative to the President of Burkina Faso for the Nakamb© region, was present at the sanitation day. He commended the community for their participation and urged them to sustain their efforts in keeping the medical center clean. Kambon© also advocated for reforestation projects, suggesting collaboration with the forestry service to cultivate a greener and more welcoming environment.

Health workers expressed unanimous support for the initiative, acknowledging that the cleanliness of the center is vital for disease prevention and enhancing the quality of care and services offered to patients.
